The Microprocessor Laboratory |

The Microprocessor Laboratory is located in the Woodmar Building, Room #104. In the Microprocessor Laboratory, students have access to electronic equipment, computers, and software used in the design, synthesis and testing of microprocessor-based systems. The lab is used for electrical engineering courses including:
- ENGE 300 C Programming with Applications
- ENGE 410 Digital System Design
- ENGE 420 Microprocessors
- ENGE 460 Microwave Engineering and Applications
The microprocessor lab equipment consists of eight digital design stations that include a general purpose computer with a variety of microprocessor design software, HC11 microprocessor training boards, and Xilinx FPGA boards. The lab is also equipped with two TLA600 Logic Analyzers, a Xeltek SuperPro 3000 PROM programmer and an LPKF ProtoMat C40 milling machine that is used to create custom printed circuit boards for a wide variety of student projects.
Many thanks to our Industrial Partners for helping us to equip a state-of-the-art microprocessor lab.
