BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ENGINEERING
George Fox University offers an ABET accredited four-year engineering program with a concentration in computer, electrical or mechanical engineering. Design projects and lab work are integrated throughout the curriculum, utilizing the latest equipment and computer tools (see Facilities). All engineering majors are required to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam prior to graduation.
Those students interested in pursuing a bachelor of science degree in other areas of engineering, such as chemical, civil, or aerospace engineering, should apply to our dual-degree program. See the program description for applied science.
For the latest, official course requirements, consult the catalog major sheet.
The following charts depict typical course schedules and prerequisite flowcharts for students enrolling in different academic years. Charts are provided for the computer, electrical and mechanical concentrations. The freshman and sophomore years are identical as students are not required to declare a concentration until their junior year.
